Kennedy Bay Golf Club house

This striking new local landmark replaced an existing facility with a new golf club house and restaurant, café and bar area with alfresco dining. Delivered in two separable portions to maintain golf operations for the duration of the project, features include:

• Pro shop, administration/reception area and change rooms

• Quality finishes, such as timber cladding, floor-to-ceiling commercial-grade glazed elements, internal honed concrete floors, and decorative breezeway linking to link the pro shop to the golf course entry

• External works comprising aggregate concrete paths, fully reticulated landscaped areas and new car parking areas

• Undercroft parking for golf carts and cart washdown zone

• Cool room/freezer, and goods lift to service the two levels.

Given its location, materials and fixtures were selected to withstand the harsh coastal environment and meet requirements of the BAL-19 bushfire rating.
