St Vincent's Aged Care

This quality, two-storey 86-bed facility located near the Swan River combines state-of-the-art residential aged care with existing significant heritage buildings. The project involved:

• Demolishing existing buildings and removing asbestos

• Refurbishing an existing community centre and heritage-listed buildings, including a homestead (1890) and rare intact freestanding store and cellar (1837)

• Constructing the new facility, which includes specialist physiotherapy, podiatry, GP and pastoral rooms

During the tender, EMCO Building identified multiple cost-saving options and through collaboration and communication with the architect and wider team delivered an exceptional project.
